If
you’re a high school senior dedicated to learning, leading and performing, you
have exactly what it takes to become a Wendy’s High School Heisman.
Criteria:
Eligibility
begins with maintaining a GPA of 3.0 (B average) or better. Applicants also
need to be proven leaders and role models within their school and community. And
applicants must perform in at least of one of the 43 school sponsored sports
recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter
Olympic Games or the National Federation of the State High School Association.
How to Apply:

Choose
a Reviewer
You will need to ask a school official to review your application. This review must be completed in order for you to qualify for the program. The school official can be an unrelated teacher, counselor, or administrator at your high school. You’ll need to enter your reviewer’s full name and email address on the application, so it’s a good idea to check with him or her before you start.

Start
the Application
Click “Apply Now” to access the online application. Before you begin your application you must complete an eligibility quiz. If you meet the academic and athletic eligibility requirements you will be able to register and begin your application to tell us how you learn, perform and lead in your school and community.
To register, create an account and establish a username and password. You’ll need your username and password through the October 2, 2015 application deadline to log back into your account, work on your application, and review your applications’ status.
You don’t have to complete the entire application at one time. You can save it and return later using your username and password. But do be sure to accurately and completely answer every question before submitting your application. Remember that incorrect or incomplete applications can disqualify you from the program.

Complete your application by 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET on October 2, 2015. Applications cannot be submitted after this time. When you are completely finished with the application, be sure to hit the submit button. Your application status will change from “Incomplete” to “Under Review.”
Before submitting your application, be sure you have entered your reviewer’s email information correctly. After completing your application, follow up with your reviewer. He or she should receive an email from wendys@scholarshipamerica.org no later than 24 hours after you complete your application. Make sure your reviewer adds wendys@scholarshipamerican.org to his/her address book or safe list to ensure that the email is accepted. Your reviewer will need to review and approve your application by 11a.m. PT/2p.m.
