The Ramon Cortines Fund will award a scholarship of $1,000 to one graduating high school senior with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in public service or education. To be eligible, a student must:
1. Be an LAUSD high school senior in good academic standing
2. Have completed the 2015-2016 FAFSA or CA Dream Act application on or before March 2, 2016
3. Enroll at a college or university for the Fall 2016 term
4. Demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in education or pubic service
