Extraordinary people all have a story: Seeking to over-come obstacles, the steps they have taken, bettering themselves and their communities. The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program recognizes and supports their journey. We want to help those who put forth the effort and find success both in and out of the classroom, yet are unable to attend college without financial assistance.
 
 What you need to apply
  • High School seniors and current undergraduates
  • Those who plan to enroll full time at a 4 year college or university in 2014-2015
  • Those who plan to major in a field of study that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest in the automotive industry

Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship
 
Delta Kappa Gamma Society International offers recruitment grants to encourage outstanding women to become educators, thereby improving the quality of education. The amount of the recruitment grant is $500 to $1000.

An individual between the ages of 12 and 17 who is engaged in individual and community preparedness or who has experienced a disaster that has motivated him or her to make a positive difference in his or her community, may apply to serve on the Youth Preparedness Council.

Valley University Women 2014 Scholarship Application

An organization of graduates of accredited universities, is offering scholarships of $2000 each to students (girls and boys) of public high schools who are residents of the San Fernando Valley and planning to attend accredited 4 year college or university in California as full time students.

Applicants must be:
  • U.S. citizen
  • Scholarship application and financial need statement
  • List of school achievements
  • Letter of recommendation from students counselor or any faculty member
  • An autobiographical sketch, approximately 500 words
  • Official transcript for grades nine through present
  • A COMPLETE copy of parents 2013 Federal Income Tax Return
  • Proof of citizenship or legal status is required (copy of birth certificate, green card, or passport)
  • Signatures where requested
