2014-2015 COBA Scholarship Award

The Council of Black Administrators (COBA) is an officially recognized organization of the Los Angeles Unified School District. One of the chief goals is to enhance educational opportunities for students of the district. COBA will award $1,000-$2,000 scholarships to qualified black students planning to attend a four year college or a university.

Requirements for Scholarship:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • SAT scores on official transcript or copy from College Board
  • Official Transcript
  • Acceptance at a four-year institution.
  • Demonstrate financial need/
  • Two letters of recommendation from one school administrator and one staff member. 
*Deadline to submit application is on Friday, January 23,

Applications should be completed and returned to the College Adviser, who will mail the application along with the recommendations.
