The Spirit of American Youth

The Spirit of American Youth will be awarded to two graduating seniors who exhibit academic potential, provide examples of how they've contributed to the betterment of their communities, and complete an essay based on how they would invest in their communities to create a brighter future for the next generation. Each Scholarship is worth $10,000

*The awarded scholarship funds are to be used solely towards cost of tuition at an accredited college or university, and not be applied to books, room and board, etc. The scholarship will be awarded in its totality directly to the school that the scholar has chosen to attend.

Valley University of Women

The Valley University of Women an organization of graduates of accredited universities, is offering scholarships of $2000 each to students (girls and boys) of public high schools who are residents of the San Fernando Valley and planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university in California as full time students. Applicants should have a record of outstanding scholastic achievement and leadership and demonstrate financial need.
