AALA Student Scholarship Awards
The Associated Administrators of Los Angeles recognizes and celebrates graduating students from the Los Angeles Unified School District for their outstanding academic achievement, school and community service, and need. Each student will receive $2,000 financial stipend to assist with her/her educational pursuits.

Mary S. Easton Scholarship
Students eligible to receive financial support for the Mary S. Eaton Archery Scholarship Fund shall:

  • Meet the academic requirements of Claremont Mckenna College (CMC)

  • Be of high ethical and moral character.
  • Have demonstrated interest in archery ("archery applicant")
  • Have financial needs as defined by Claremont Mckenna College standards.

    • students with an unweighted 3.3 GPA or better

    • up to $2,000 per year for all four year of college
  • For Career Technical Education and Community College Bound Students: 
    • students with an unweighted 2.85 GPA or better 
    • active in the community 
    • planning to attend an Occupational Center or Community College vocational certificate program 
    • up to $1,000 scholarships for one year at a community college in a vocational preparation program

2, 3, & 4 Week Programs Available (June 27- August 5)
Application Lists Exact Dates for Each Medical Facility

- Applicants must be in 11th grade or 12th grade when they fill out an application and have a birth date on or before 4/1/2000.
Cedars-Sinai requires student be 18 by start date,

- The Program is best described as a medical mentor program.

- Under the supervision of a health care educator/medical facility coordinator, selected participants shadow various medical professionals (nurse, nutritionist, pharmacist, lab technician, physician and/or medical specialist etc.)

-Most participating medical facilities run their programs Monday- Friday, about 8 hours a day, no nights or weekends; exacts hours determined by the coordinator at each facility. 

- If selected, participants are responsible for their own transportation.

- If a financial need exists, a participant may request a stipend after being selected.

2015-2016 HUMAN RELATIONS SCHOLARSHIP

The Alliance of Asian Pacific Administrations (AAPA), Association of Jewish Educators (AJE), Council of Black Administrators (COBA), and the Council of Mexican American Administrators (CMAA) have joined together to sponsor scholarships for selected high school seniors.

Each of the organizations awards three (3) scholarships to eligible seniors who have, beyond the norm, demonstrated leadership in promoting intergroup/intercultural relations and/or have through their actions, significantly reduced intergroup tension at their school and/or community.

Eligible students must have maintained a minimum 3.0 GPA, grades 9-12. The ont-time scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded to students upon submission of proof enrollment in a college or university.

THE POSTMARKED DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2016
